situation in hyderabad
This is a note for the participants who will be attending the ICON Conference from India and other countries.
You might have heard about the agitation going on in Hyderabad. We are happy to report that settlement has been reached, and things are now fast returning to normal.
It should be mentioned that it was largely a peaceful agitation and there was no danger to life or limb. For air travellers, even the inconvenience of delay was not there because Hyderabad airport is located outside and one reaches IIIT-H directly without having to go through the city.
Hence, there is no disturbance to our ICON Conference and it is scheduled from 14-17 Dec 2009 as announced earlier.
